- Niko, the qualification is in your pocket. Relieved?
"I would say yes, but at the same time we didn’t have too much pressure. We were in no delicate position before the game against Portugal. We did well our job."
- Did you feel in Nice the same atmosphere like in Montbéliard and Lyon ?
"Yes, it was the same warm welcome. We played our three matches in very full halls and I can say that one is touched by it. I regret only the fact that we killed the suspense by deciding in our favour a bit fast the game against Portugal. But anyway, we can’t put ourselves in danger. We did very well and we will approach Euro in January with the aim to realise the triple: Olympic’s title, the World Championships’ title and the European Championships’ title. "
- And from now on you are in holiday...
"Yes and...no. I am in Montpellier now. It is 9 o’clock in the morning and I will dedicate my day to medical examinations. I will give blood samples, I will let myself check up by the physiotherapist and doctor, I will make a cardiogram. I will have a full day. But I will clench my teeth because I know that beginning with tonight I will be really on holiday. And on Monday I will fly to Reunion to celebrate Pat’s (Cazal) jubilee. "
