- Hi Niko. How are you doing after the win against Nordhorn on Tuesday?
"I am doing very, very well. We made a very good game. The goal was to keep on the rhythm before the final. We did it. We are in an excellent disposition before the confrontation with Ciudad Real."
- Do you have news about Vid, he didn’t play against Nordhorn.
"Actually, he felt pains at knie during the Final Four in Hamburg, but he has already trained nomally the day before yesterday. No doubt he will be on the field on Sunday".
- Did you call your pals from Ciudad Real? I mean Didier, Luc or Jérôme...
"No, I didn’t. I had the intention to do it to know when they arrive to Kiel. I will try to greet them if my schedule would allow me."
- Is the pressure on the point to raise among you?
"No, not yet. We learnt to ’administrate’ the period before the games. We understood it that it is unnecessary to lose our forces in such moments. We will feel the pressure just before we enter the soil."
- What will make the difference between the two teams which dominate the European handball in the last seasons?
"No doubt, the details. It is impossible for me to make a prediction. The final will oppose two squads which changed just a little this season. We have both gained an year of experience. Ciudad is the same team from the last season, always so strong and Kiel as well. But in my opinion we, the Zebras, are all on top form. I refer particularly at Filip, he plays a great season. There is no doubt about it, he is stronger than the last year."
- To play the first leg on home soil is an advantage?
"I am tempted to say no, but thinking at the last year’s final, we realize that nothing is decided. We beat Ciudad in their hall and then we lost home. We are warned."
