TBV Lemgo captured back the first position of the Bundesliga ranking, after the lucky victory, 30:29 against Großwallstadt, in an away game. Due to the better goal difference, the squad coached by Markus Baur is placed before THW.

THW Kiel won 39:32 in Melsugen with a great Niko and is the new leader of the Bundesliga at least until tomorrow. Their actual pursuer, Lemgo, needs a positive result in Großwallstadt to "climb" on the top again.

THW Kiel won tonight its second game of the group C, 39:29 in front of the hosts from Drammen HK. The match in Norway looked rather like a friendly one, being the perfect workout for the clash against Barcelona on 19h October in Spain.

In the 42nd minute of the game against HSV Hamburg, Krzysztof Lijewski defended really hard to Nikola and that "attack" let traces. Red card for the right-back player, big pains for Niko.

The first round of the group matches brought two surprises. Flensburg lost in Veszprem (28:29) and Rhein-Neckar Löwen drawed in Zagreb in front of a squad who is practically the same with the Croatian National Team.
