The home squad started excellent in the game, being in lead with 4:1 after 6 minutes. The hosts saw themselves quickly equalised (4:4/8.) and the opponent managed to came closer from 7:4 to 7:6/13., but more was not possible for them. Nikola and his teammates imposed a very fast pace who brought them a comfortable margin after 30 minutes: 19:14. By the way Niko, he played only in the first half, but performed great, both defence and attack. He scored 4 goals, obtained a 7 meter shot, had a steal and shared 4 assists.
After the break, the difference betweend the both teams was more than clear. While Berlin scored one goal in the first 7 minutes, Kiel made 6 in a row for 25:25 and closed practically the game. In the end, they won by 9, 38:29, after they rotate the roster, with an exception, Wessig.
