The Icelander, who left VfL Gummersbach for the last German Champions, signed a three year contract until 2011. According to German press, Kiel will pay about 750.000 euro to VfL, where Gislason was under agreemenrt until 2010.

Niko prepares himself for the Olympics with the French National Team in Savoie, La Toussuire. There it reached him the news about Noka Serdarusic dismissal. This was the last thing that Nikola needed during his preparation for Beijing.

Noka Serdarusic wrote history in Kiel, by winning 25 titles in 15 years as a coach. Last season he won the German Championships, the German Cup and was Champions League finalist, but despite of all this unique performances he was practically sacked yesterday.
